Come on out to the 2nd Annual 1861 Gen.Sam Houston Beard and Moustache Competition, during the 31st Sam Houston Folk Festival in beautiful Huntsville TX!

Upon entering the grounds, find the Austin Facial Hair Club booth and sign up for one of 6 categories:
1) Full Beard
2) Moustache
3) "The Jed" (Goatee) named after one of the great TX goatee wearers and Folk Musicians, Jed Marum.
4) "The General" (Sideburns) named after Gen. Sam Houston himself, because he didn't have enough things named after him.
5) Best Groomed Facial Hair
6) Craft - Artificial, make-your-own-beard, all-ages. We will have supplies at the AFHC booth.

Be sure and sign up before 4pm on Saturday May 19, and we'll see who has the best and most crowd pleasing whiskers in a light-hearted, fun-filled event!
