  3. AFHC at Dickens on the Strand for 3rd Straight Year

AFHC will be hosting a beard and moustache competition at Dickens on the Strand this year in Galveston. And to make things just a bit more adorable, we will even have a childrens category. If you haven't heard, Dickens on the Strand is the premier Victorian holiday festival celebrating the life and times of Charles Dickens, this December 1st & 2nd. This year is even more special because it is Charlie's 200th birthday. So strap on your corset or your bowler hat and come visit our booth. 4. Fun Fun Fun Fest 7 Recap

Whoa, what a great festival. We met some great people (Valiant Thor, Wyatt Cenac, David Cross, Chris Cubas, etc), drank lots of beers, ate lots of great food, listened to lots of great bands, and got lots of bandanas on faces. It wouldn't have been half as great without the help of a lot of great people:

    • Transmission (Moody, Graham, Zoe and all the rest of the staff)
    • Steve Hunt for printing out tons of merch for us to sling
    • Frank for filling us with free hotdogs
    • Ground(ctrl)
    • A&D Ointment for easing Alex's chapped ass
    • Hot Tubs for cleaning Alex's chapped ass
    • Miletus and Mike for helping keep the taco cannon running
    • Everyone that stopped by the booth
